4^th Annual Day of Dialogue Information:

Faculty Senate- May 2009

The 4^th annual Day of Day of Dialogue will be held on Thursday, October 29^th in the University Center.  Last year, over 2,600 staff, faculty, and students participated in Day of Dialogue events.

We are also changing the look of our Day of Dialogue marketing image.  Faculty, staff and students are encouraged to create a piece of art that we will use as a marketing tool. Applications can be found at www.umt.edu/dayofdialogue

The Day of Dialogue would also be presenting the Tunnel of Oppression as a pre-event. Dates are October 26-28^th.

Please consider:

1.     Encourage your students to participate with the Day of Dialogue, and participate yourself, through submitting a proposal, an exhibit or just by attending a session or pre-event.

2.     Add the Day of Dialogue to your Syllabi

3.     Consider allowing for extra credit for those who may want to attend, especially during a set class time.
