According to the schedules received, the only possible time for the committee
to meet in the spring is on Monday’s from 10-11.
Business items:
The committee refined the flow chart. Some of the items under themes throughout
the curriculum were deleted as they were redundant. Language in the various
quadrants was edited. It is important
that any revision provide students with a better understanding of why general
education is important. They should know
that there is a migration of knowledge from the core courses into major courses
as well.
The Assessment Advisory Group is interested in the flow chart. It will provide a starting point for
assessment. Professor Smith will forward
a document that is helpful for developing goals and objectives.
