“Put Ze Candle…Back.” This iconic line from Young Frankenstein, Mel Brooks’ 1974 classic black and white comedy is but one of countless moments in the parody above all parodies. MCT's musical version is not black and white…it’s filled with color...colorful characters, and colorful language. This timeless tale of Frankenstein is told in the most ridiculous, please don’t take it seriously way, stuffed with double entrendres of the sexual variety and I can’t believe I’m laughing at this outdated joke moments. The PG-13 Parental Guidance Recommended rating is well-warranted, due to the adult humor. If you know and love Mel Brooks (The ProducersHigh Anxiety), there will be no surprises.
