THe Financial Education Program joined the Curry Wellness in a presentation titled "Stressed, Tired and Broke" focused on helping students find ways to revieve stress, rest more and utilize budgeting strategies to improve their finances.

Freshman year is a great time to plan out your financail strategy for paying for college!  This workshop covered the basics of personal finance as well as an introduction to how student loans function and how they will impact the borrower in the future.

SIN Budgeting and Loans 101 - April 16, 2015

Students transitioning out of college often have new expenses to pay including repayment of their loans.  This presentation covered ways to prepare for those expenses and the tools for repayment of student loans.

Students wanting to follow the budget given in this presentation should first fill out the Expenses Checklist then fill out the Income Checklist.  The information from those sheets can then be included in the blank Yearly Budgeting Excel spreadsheet used in the presentation.
