FLBS Summer Session Brochure

  • The Flathead Lake Biological Station 2008 academic session begins on June 9 and concludes August 1.
  • Formal admission to The University of Montana is not required to register for FLBS courses.
  • Courses are filled on a first to come, first-served basis to qualified applicants. Application deadline is May 19, 2008. Courses require minimum enrollment by March 31, 2008 so early registration is important.  
  • Course credits at FLBS transfer to most colleges and universities.
  • Typical summer seasons represent students from over 25 universities and other organizations.
  • Courses may be taken for either undergraduate or graduate credit at the designated 300 or 400 level.
  • Cabins, the lodging of choice, are also available on a first to come, first-served basis, and can be reserved after all application materials have been confirmed.
