All of our trips teach and incorporate Leave No Trace principles and ethics.
The Upper Missouri River’s Wild & Scenic section has layers of history and beauty. This trip offers a very accessible route of discovery: geology, wildlife, Native American culture, early explores and the pioneers that followed. The landscape has changed little since Lewis & Clark passed through the Upper Missouri in the spring of 1805. This trip consists of flat water canoeing and some beautiful day hikes sprinkled into the trip.
These trips will be backpacking through various parts of Montana and Northern Idaho. Each day will vary from 5-10 miles with full packs and cooking and camping following Leave No Trace principles.
Spend several days committed to getting to know your peers and rolling up your sleeves getting to know your public lands! Service oriented trips will spend a portion of the day volunteering on public service project.
