Declaring a Major

• First, look at the possible majors in the catalog on page 29 or UM.
• Next, you will need to complete a "change of major form", available at the Registration counter in Griz Central. Detailed information available in catalog on page 29 or UM.
• Indicate on the application for admission the major or majors in which you are interested.
• If you are undecided as to a field of interest then you may elect a General Studies major while making program and career decisions.
• Students must declare a major in a degree-granting program prior to obtaining upper-division status (45 credits) UM
