The University of Montana-Missoula offers several opportunities for student involvement.
The International Student Association (ISA) is here to make the transition easier and to help foreign students make the very best of the time they spend at the university. ISA members are active both on campus and in the Missoula community, organizing activities and participating in a number of organizations on campus, so foreign students' voices are heard. All foreign students are automatically members of this group. American students may also become members by contacting the ISA.
Student Leaders of Nationality Clubs comprise our UN Council. The officers of these clubs are happy to respond to you and your concerns. You may find their contact information here.
Numerous groups are recognized by the Associated Students of the University of Montana (ASUM). These ASUM-recognized groups represent a wide variety of academic, pre-professional, political, spiritual and sports clubs, and UM student publications. Currently there are over 150 ASUM-recognized clubs and organizations, of which approximately three-fourths are receiving direct funding from ASUM. A complete list of ASUM-recognized clubs and organizations (with contact emails) for your participation is available by visiting : ASUM Student Groups
