Thesis project: The Skookum Butte Stock, a satellite pluton of the Idaho-Bitterroot Batholith, provides an opportunity to study the dynamics of pluton emplacement, metamorphism, and partial melting.   I propose to map the northern margin of Skookum Butte Stock in order to provide insight into the relationships between regional metamorphic isograds and known pulses of Cretaceous and Eocene magmatism.
