Education

B.A. Communication Studies, University of Kansas

Thesis advisor (s):

Bill Woessner

Thesis project:

My thesis will examine the riparian zone buffering capacities of nitrate enriched groundwater.

This is a picture of the designated riparian zone along the stretch of the Bitterroot River, located on the western edge of Missoula, Montana.   The red arrows indicate the nitrate enriched ground water flow direction.   The red circle is an area of groundwater discharge.

A number of shallow groundwater monitoring wells will be installed using the University of Montana geoprobe.   This drill rig uses a push method for well installation

Hobbies

I like to climb on my days off and paddle the rivers when I am not climbing.
