Living Learning Community

The GLI Living Learning Community is based in Miller Hall and open to 29 male and 29 female GLI freshmen each year. Living in this community enriches the experience of the Global Leadership Initiative by giving students the opportunity to think globally, but connect locally. In order to become a member of the GLI community you must have been accepted into the program and have indicated interest in the Living Learning Community on your GLI survey. Students in the community will live in Miller Hall and an effort will be made to include Fellows from each of the GLI seminars. Seminar courses and other relevant workshops may, on occasion, be taught within Miller Hall’s communal spaces. Members of the community will also engage in voluntary activities that are tailored to meet the needs and interests of the GLI experience. Living in this community provides an opportunity to develop stronger friendships and engage in shared learning experiences that will help shape your college career and beyond.
