Interested In Teaching English? Consider Our Spring 2020 TESOL Certificate Course

Three students and their teacher all working on class work together.

Are you interested in getting paid to experience a new culture, learn a new language, and travel to amazing destinations?  With a TESOL certificate, you could easily be on your way to living and teaching English in Asia, Latin America, Africa, Europe, or the Middle East. For aspiring teachers and travelers, the English Language Institute is excited to offer its online TESOL Certificate Program again this fall! This dynamic online course provides English language teacher training to anyone interested in working with and teaching non-native speakers, including recent graduates, current students, those interested in teaching abroad, current teachers looking for strategies to meet the needs of diverse learners, and international participants who meet English language proficiency requirements. The 12-week course includes 100 online instructional hours on Moodle, 20 hours of practicum (observation and instruction), mentorship by experienced ESL/EFL teachers, and help pursuing a career in the teaching profession. The combination of this certificate and a bachelor’s degree will satisfy minimum qualifications to teach English at most independent language schools worldwide. This course is flexible and works with most full-time students and work schedules. Successful TESOL Certificate Program participants have gone on to teach in Russia, Ecuador, Japan, and Spain. Registration is through the School of Extended & Lifelong Learning; the fall course starts September 4. Here is the registration link: TESOL Registration Spring 2020.
