Extended Degree Programs - Graduate

Program Description

Academic departments at The University of Montana-Missoula team with UM Continuing Education to offer degree programs to locations throughout Montana. Designed to meet the needs of students who work during the day or live outside Missoula, Extended Degree Programs delivers courses using combinations of traditional classroom, video conferencing and online/Internet instruction. Classes typically meet during evenings or on weekends. Degrees earned through EDP are equivalent to those earned on campus, and courses are offered every semester.

EDP students enjoy access to a wide variety of UM-M student services including the Mansfield Library's distance education delivery services and UM-M's admission, financial aid, registration and career services.

Classes are open to qualified, regularly admitted degree seeking UM-M students. Although students are encouraged to pursue programs in their entirety, graduate nondegree students may also register for individual courses with consent of the program's academic coordinator. For information about academic coordinators, logistics and costs, please contact Extended Degree Programs at the information above. Refer to the Graduate School website for more information about UM-M graduate degrees, admissions requirements and application materials.
