IRSE

Gear Up
IRSE's mission to prepare Indigenous students for academic success in STEM disciplines begins in the earliest of years.  Currently IRSE delivers service to middle school students enrolled in Montana's tribal community schools.  Among the efforts include training Arlee and Ronan students on the assembly of desk top computers (spring 2014), summer Gear Up STEM camps on the Blackfeet and Fort Belknap Reservations (2013), and summer Gear Up camps in schools on the the Crow and Northern Cheyenne Reservations (2014).  IRSE intends to host summer Gear Up camps at Fort Peck, Salish Kootenai, and Rocky Boy Reservations in future years.
