Montana's Hydrogen Futures Project -- making Montana a leader in the coming Hydrogen Economy.
Office of Civic Engagement --provides opportunities
for students, faculty, and the university community to volunteer as
partners in community-based work that meets community needs.
Program in Ecological
Agriculture and Society PEAS --maintains an organic farm that teaches students & community
members how to grow organic food in Missoula’s climate and how
to run a community supported agriculture project. The farm also produces
thousands of pounds of food for food banks.
UM Avian Science Center -- promotes ecological awareness and informed decision making through collection, synthesis & dissemination of science-based information on western birds..
UM Integrated Weed Management program --partners campus & community members in restoring the native ecosystems of Missoula’s open spaces.
UM Watershed
Health Clinic--partners UM students, faculty and staff with community groups
or public agencies who need assistance in conserving watersheds. Assistance
includes water quality and watershed studies, preparation of watershed
plans & grant proposals, education/training to community groups,
& labor at work sites.
