SUSTAINABLE SYSTEMS, LLC is a renewable fuel and bio-based product development, manufacturing, and marketing company. We are committed to the philosophy of sustainable profit, environment, and community. We quantify profit sustainability by the financial return that we provide.
Environmental sustainability is determined by conducting life cycle analysis on each of our products with respect to both energy consumption and environmental impact, from the farmer's field to the end product. If a product does not provide a net energy gain or if it over-burdens our environment in its manufacture or use, the product is reassessed or is not commercialized. For community sustainability, we are providing rural economic development and establishing a vital link between rural and urban America, preserving this necessary cultural balance. In essence, we are supporting an essential socioeconomic balance and reducing a growing disconnection between urban and rural America by providing highly profitable and environmentally beneficial products produced in rural regions and used in adjacent urban centers.Through this integrated sustainability strategy, we will create lasting value for shareholders and stakeholders, based on economic, social, and environmental performance.

SUSTAINABLE SYSTEMS LLC has a 1500-square foot research and pilot plant, used for product and market development. The company plans to expand to produce 10 million gallons per year in a zero-emissions bio-refinery that produces a variety of products including renewable fuels and lubricants.
This capacity is expected to satisfy the current and future regional demand for bio-based products. The company is linked to University systems across the region for additional crop and product development. Sustainable Systems plans to locate corporate headquarters and research and development facilities in Missoula, MT. The zero emissions bio-refineries will be located adjacent to agricultural producing regions, facilitating sustainable rural economic development.
