Pick Up Your Griz Card

Please select the campus, program, and/or status that best fits to see more details on where to pick up your card and what you need to bring to get your Griz Card. We are coordinating with departments and programs to establish alternative pick up locations for subpopulations of students, including students living in the Residence Halls, first-year law students, and first-year physical therapy students.

Schedule An AppointmentFor safety reasons, we are issuing cards by appointment at the Griz Card Center. If you would like to pick up your Griz Card before August 3rd, please make an appointment. You may schedule an appointment up to two weeks out from today's date.

 

How to Pick Up Your Card

Please note we have arranged alternative pick up times and locations for new students living in residence halls, first-year law students, and first-year physical therapy students. If you are a member of one of these subpoplations, please select that section below.

Once you have submitted your photo and received a confirmation email that your photo was approved, you may pick up your Griz Card. If you would like to pick up your card before August 3rd, please schedule an appointment. We are still finalizing details for card issuance during August and the start of the semester. We will update this site with more information as it is known.

The Griz Card Center will preprint Griz Cards as photos are approved. The $15 Griz Card fee is charged to your CyberBear Account, so all you need to do is show photo ID. * Acceptable forms of photo ID include: a Federal or State Government issued identification (ex: driver's license), a passport, military ID, or other government issued photo ID. 

*Your Griz Card is required to access campus services associated with mandatory fees; we have automatically assessed the Griz Card fee for your convenience. Students may opt-out of this fee in person at the Griz Card Center. The automatic Griz Card fee assessment to new student's CyberBear account is effective starting Fall 2018 term, for students enrolling for the first time in Fall 2018. 

Students should submit a photo for their Griz Card online prior to arriving on campus and/or visiting the Griz Card Center. Incoming freshmen living in the residence halls who submit their photo by August 1st will receive their card when they check in at their residence hall, which means they will not have to visit the UC to pick up their card.

Students who do not submit their photo by August 1st will have to follow the procedures outlined in the above section "University of Montana or Missoula College" including visiting the Griz Card Center in the UC.

Students should submit a photo for their Griz Card online prior to arriving on campus and/or visiting the Griz Card Center. We are coordinating with the Alexander Blewett III School of Law to determine the photo submission deadline to allow you to pick up your card at the Alexander Blewett III School of Law Building during intro days and the start of the semester. We encourage you to submit your photo now and will update this site and provide email communications as details are finalized.

Students who do not submit their photo by the deadline will have to follow the procedures outlined in the above section "University of Montana or Missoula College" including visiting the Griz Card Center in the UC.

We are coordinating with the School of Physical Therapy to determine the photo submission deadline and location for you to pick up your card during your orientation. Pick up will likely occur in the Skaggs Building. We encourage you to submit your photo now and will update this site and provide email communications as details are finalized.

Once you have submitted your photo and received a confirmation email that your photo was approved, you may pick up your Griz Card. You will need to bring $15 cash, check, Visa, Discover, or Mastercard for your replacement card, or you may authorize the $15 fee be applied to your CyberBear Account. You may need to present a photo ID. Acceptable forms of photo ID include: a Federal or State Government issued identification (ex: driver's license), a passport, military ID, or other government issued photo ID.

Once you have submitted your photo and received a confirmation email that your photo was approved, the Griz Card Center will print and mail your card to the Bitterroot College. Your card is normally available at the Bitterroot College campus 3-5 business days after your photo is approved. Visit Meri Telin to pick-up your Griz Card. If this is your first card, the mandatory $15 Griz Card fee is charged to your CyberBear Account, so all you need to do is show photo ID. If this is a replacement card, you may make payment to Meri or authorize that this charge by applied to your CyberBear Account.

The email will outline where to make payment, ID verification requirements, and how to receive or pick up your Griz Card.
