Melissa has served as the Associate Director for Operations since May 2012. She oversees human resources, operations, technology, and training for full-time staff. She also oversees the Griz Card Center, co-chairs the Griz Welcome Committee, and sits on the Student Affairs Assessment Committee, DiverseU, and the Diversity Advisory Council. Melissa received her BS in Political Science from the University of Wisconsin – Eau Claire and her Master of Public Administration from the University of Montana. She worked at the Griz Card Center for 6 years prior to moving over to Turner Hall. She also worked in the nonprofit sector in the Twin Cities and was an Americorps VISTA in Minneapolis before moving to Montana. Melissa is also currently serving as a board member for the National Association of Campus Card Users (NACCU). In her free time she enjoys playing board games, spending time with her family, and enjoying the outdoors in the shade.
Maggie McCarthy, Griz Card Center Program Coordinator

Maggie currently oversees the day-to-day processes of the Griz Card Center and the Griz Card managed systems (Blackboard Transact, Sequoia Quadpoint, Orbital Shift). Her favorite part of the job is troubleshooting odd problems (she loves a mystery), supervising the Griz Card Center's student employees, and her participation in NACCU (National Association of Campus Card Users). Maggie graduated from the University of Montana with a Marketing degree, and worked in the card office as a student before graduating and becoming a full-time staff member. Outside of work, Maggie enjoys being a wife and mom, while still trying to sneak in time for crafts, home improvement projects, gardening, and cooking peanut buttery desserts.
Tayler Warhurst, Griz Card Systems Support Specialist

Tayler joined the Griz Card Center as a Systems Support Specialist in Spring 2020, and previously worked in the card office for over four years in numerous roles. Tayler loves working on campus because she has the opportunity to help solve our customer’s diverse problems. Tayler assists with daily operations of the Griz Card Center and helps to support and troubleshoot the Griz Card managed systems. She graduated from the University of Montana with a Bachelor of Arts in Media Arts in 2016. In her free time, Tayler enjoys snuggling with her cat, Sheldon, gaming, and getting outside when the weather is nice.
