2018-2019 DA Application Process

Application

All New Desk Assistant and Returning Desk Assistant candidates must complete a Desk Assistant Application to be considered for the position. Applications for new DAs are available from early April to early July each year, and positions are offered beginning in mid-August and continue until all positions are filled. Desk Assistants who work for the department during summer conferences and continue throughout the academic year are hired through our summer conference staff process. The number of returning and summer Desk Assistants continuing into the academic year dictates how many new Desk Assistants will be hired. Additional positions may be filled throughout the academic year as needed.

2018-2019 New Desk Assistant Application

Interview

We will conduct phone interviews with top DA candidates in mid-July for positions beginning at the second half of August. Depending on number of applicants and number of position openings, not all candidates will be offered a phone interview.

Hiring Notification

DA candidates will be contacted in mid-August to inform them if they will be offered a position or not for the 2018-2019 academic year.
