Single students who have earned 30-59 credits and have a 2.5+ GPA with no prior conduct are also eligible for Lewis and Clark Village.

All residents of the Lewis and Clark Village must be a currently enrolled student taking a minimum of 7 credits per semester with a minimum of 16 credits per year.

Lewis and Clark VIllage offers 2-bedroom apartments and 3-bedroom apartments with private bedrooms and a shared kitchen, living room, and bathroom between roommates. The apartment comes furnished with a couch, chair, full-size beds, desks, dressers, shelves, dishwasher, refrigerator, stove, and microwave.
Prospective tenants may submit applications together with a requested roommate(s). Roommate requests are accommodated based on availability of apartments. If a tenant does not have a roommate preference, a roommate is assigned based on like gender, and attempt to take into consideration other preferences such as age, smoking, and alcohol consumption.

Amenities At A Glance

  • Apartment Options: Lewis and Clark offers 2-bedroom and 3-bedroom apartments, and each resident has their own bedroom.
  • Wireless: All apartments now have wireless in all rooms. Internet ports to plug into are available in each bedroom. Wireless is also available in the Community Center for study groups and group projects.
  • Laundry: There is a laundry room available on the 1st floor of each apartment building accessible to the residents of that building.
  • Community Center: There is one large community center that hosts events next to the main office.
  • Storage Units: Each apartment comes with a storage unit for the roommates to share.
  • Carpet: All apartments are carpeted in the living room and bedrooms. There is not carpet in the kitchen or bathroom.

Companion Animal Addendum

All UM Housing including apartments at Lewis and Clark Village are pet-free living environments. Due to Lewis and Clark Village allowing approved service and companion animals, we can not guarantee that a room or apartment has been free of animals living within the unit.

Bedrooms that are vacated while other roommate(s) remain in the apartment are thoroughly cleaned, and common areas (living room, kitchen, bathroom) are surface cleaned, depending on the amount of personal items in those areas. Apartments which are completely vacant are thoroughly cleaned in all areas.
