General Information

• Storage is available on a first-come, first-served basis and is based on availability.
• Storage is available in Jesse, Knowles (starting Fall 2024), Miller and Pantzer Hall. 
• Requests can be submitted online using the Storage Request Form
• Storage rental charges are assessed by the dates indicated in the storage contract and are not assessed monthly.
• Charges will be posted to your student account in CyberBear and are determined by size, location, and pricing listed below.
• With the exception of Miller closet style storage rooms, students are responsible for providing their own key or combination lock.

UM Housing is not responsible for lost, damaged, or stolen property located in a storage unit.  Therefore, UM Housing strongly recommends each student adequately insure their personal property.

Academic Year Storage

• Sign up is available starting the last week in August through the official closing day of Spring Semester
• Residents living in UM Housing are eligible to rent a storage unit

Summer Storage

• Sign up is available starting April 1 – requests received prior to April 1^st will be denied
• Residents living in UM Housing for Spring Semester and who have a completed housing application submitted for the next academic year are eligible for storage

Storage Styles

Basement Units -  Cage Style units are offered in Jesse, Knowles, Miller and Pantzer Hall.  Students provide their own lock.

Miller Closet Style units are offered on Miller 1^st through 4^th floors.  Students will be issued an access card to open the closet door of the unit.  Students will need to call the on-call duty phone to get access to Miller Hall.
