FAMILY MEDICAL LEAVE




The University will grant an eligible employee unpaid leave for up to 12 work weeks during a 12-month period, if all procedures are followed and leave is approved for any of the following reasons:

  • The birth or adoption of a child, or the foster care placement of a child.
  • To care for the spouse, child, or parent of the employee if that individual has a serious health condition requiring the employees attendance.
  • A serious health condition of the employee that renders the employee unable to perform his or her job functions.
