The University of Montana (UM), Division of Biological Sciences, invites applications for a tenure-track position at the Assistant/Associate Professor level in landscape ecology to be based at the Flathead Lake Biological Station (FLBS).
We are particularly interested in applicants with multidisciplinary research interests in terrestrial-aquatic linkages.
The position includes half-time salary from UM (0.5 FTE), with remaining salary to be supported through extramural research funds.

Applicants must have a Ph.D. in an appropriate discipline and a record of outstanding scholarly activity.
Postdoctoral research experience in aspects of landscape ecology is desirable.
The appointee is expected to establish an externally funded research program, mentor graduate students, and teach periodically at the FLBS and on the Missoula campus.
