Primary Functions

Part-Time Adjunct Faculty Position(s) will be available beginning Fall, 2008, in the Department of Computer Science. Appointments are typically made one semester at a time, for one or more computer science courses per instructor. There is a possibility, but no guarantee, that the position(s) can be continued for additional semesters.

  • Teaching assignments may be for computer applications courses.
  • Teaching assignments may also be for computer science courses such as introduction to computer science, data structures, or Database Design and Database Management Systems.
  • Qualifications

  • Candidates must have teaching experience and a minimum of a M.S. degree.
  • Candidates must be very familiar with commonly used computer applications.
  • Candidates for these assignments must be very familiar with commonly used computer applications and their use in business, research, and academics.
  • Candidates for the possible computer science, data structures, or web programming assignments must have an M.S. Degree in computer science or equivalent experience.
