GRIZ CARD (UM IDS)

As a new employee, you can receive a UM ID Card, more commonly referred to as a Griz Card. Your Griz Card is the official identification card for University students, faculty, and staff. The card may be needed for building access, borrowing privileges at the Mansfield Library, discounts at the Bookstore, free rides on Mountain Line bus system, and discounts to University events as well as other benefits both on and off campus.

Griz Card: The UM ID

The Griz Card contains a unique series of nine digits that the University uses to identify its employees and affiliates. A ‘790’ number is assigned to faculty, staff, and University affiliates. All regular staff hired through Human Resources are assigned a 790 number by Human Resources at the time of hire. Your 790 number is the number on your Griz Card and is also included in your welcome email.
