What is the Performance Review cycle?
The Performance Review cycle begins July 1 and ends June 30 of each year.
Performance Reviews will be based on work performed during that time period regardless of employment schedule. Example: 10-month academic year.
Employees must be:
Non-temporary employees (.4 FTE or greater)
Non-union or belong to the MPEA, Teamsters, and Laborers Union
Individuals who supervise eligible staff
Supervisors must complete a Performance Review form (the Supervisor Review form must be attached for those individuals who have supervisory/managerial responsibilities). Schedule a meeting to thoroughly discuss the employee's performance. Submit the signed form(s) to HRS by August 1.
While not centrally mandated, supervisors may require the employees in their area of influence to establish Performance Objectives.
