Authorization

  • Create Recruitment Authorization
  • Create Role Description
  • Route forms for signatures
  • Forms submitted to HRS

Step 2

Screening

Duration: 1-2 weeks + 3-5 days for HRS
  • Screening Day (SilkRoad login received)
  • Review candidate materials
  • Select candidates to interview
  • Enter justifications into SilkRoad + notify HRS
  • Send HRS interview & reference questions
  • HRS gives approval to set up & conduct interviews

Interviewing: Phone/Skype

Reference Check Included
Duration: 1-2 weeks + 3-5 days for HRS
Note: This step is optional if not Phone/Skype interviews are not necessary
  • Schedule Interview
  • Conduct Interview
  • Check References
  • Enter justifications into SilkRoad + notify HRS
  • Send HRS interview & reference note
  • HRS gives authorization to set up & conduct interviews

Interviewing: On-Campus

Reference Check Included

  • Conduct Interviews
  • Check References
  • Enter justifications into SilkRoad + notify HRS
  • Send HRS interview & reference notes
  • HRS gives authorization to make offer

Step 3

Making An Offer

  • Make a hiring offer to candidate
  • Promptly notify HRS of acceptance

Hiring Authorization

  • Receive HAF4 from HRS
  • Sign HAF4 and continue the signature route
  • Return to HRS4 with all signatures

Onboarding

  • Before 1st Day –  6-12 months    
  • Background Check
  • Employee completes new employee paperwork
  • Employee attends NEW5
  • Train Your Employee
