Training & Development

Human Resource Services is committed to providing diverse training opportunities that will benefit all University of Montana employees.

Featured Training

The workshop and training opportunities sponsored by Human Resource Services help each of us reach our own potential as well as work effectively with others.

Financial Development Certificate Program

Human Resource Services is sponsoring an exciting new training opportunity for UM employees beginning fall 2016. Many positions on campus require knowledge and skills in fiscal affairs. The Financial Development Certificate Program is a great introduction for employees who work closely with financial managers or who may manage some of these tasks for their units and want to learn more.

Academic Advising Certificate Program

The Office for Student Success is sponsoring a new training program for University of Montana employees. The Academic Advising Certificate Program is a great introduction to advising for faculty or staff members who do official or unofficial advising on a daily basis in their positions and need a refresher or for people who are interested in advancing into a professional academic advising position at UM. Academic advising is an essential service for ensuring students receive a quality education at UM.
