Position is the receptionist for the College of Health Professions & Biomedical Sciences: provides general information; routes calls;
distributes mail; assists with summer and spring orientations; maintaining forms and files; keeps accurate lists of email addresses for
the College; upkeeps building directory; creates informational communication documents; orders office supplies
Schedules all conference and class rooms in the Skaggs Building and posts schedule; assists with travel arrangements and event coordination
Provides administrative support to the Dean’s office staff, Office of Student Services for CHPBS, and the Director for Development and
Alumni Relations; oversees money collection for student printing using Print Manager Plus software; assists with special projects and
completes duties as assigned; assigns tasks to student staff

| Minimum Job Qualifications |
|
High school graduation and two (2) years related work experience, or an equivalent combination of education and experience
|

| Required Knowledge, Skills & Abilities |
|
Knowledge of standard office practices and procedures: business English, spelling, grammar, punctuation and composition
Ability to provide positive professional customer service on the phone and in person and remain calm and professional at all times
Effective public relations, interpersonal, oral and written communication skills, including the ability to communicate to a diverse group of individuals, and establish and maintain good working relationships
Demonstrated ability to effectively lead and assign tasks to student staff
Organizational, time management, and multi-tasking skills and ability to meet deadlines in a busy environment with attention to detail
Demonstrated skill in the operation of personal computers and related word processing, spreadsheet and database software (MS Excel, Word, Access, Outlook) with the ability to learn other software programs (Print Manager Plus)
Ability to plan and schedule meetings and classrooms
Knowledge of or ability to learn The University of Montana policies and procedures (Travel policies)
Demonstrated ability to handle cash accurately
Ability to use and troubleshoot standard office equipment; copiers, fax machine, shredder, multi-line phone system
Ability to maintain accurate records and files
Ability to maintain confidentiality, exercise sound judgment, act with initiative, and problem solve
