Day 3: Education Abroad Fair

University of Montana Education Abroad supports UM students wishing to gain real-world experience by studying and living in a foreign country from a few weeks up to an academic year. The three major networks used to send students abroad are: Faculty-Directed programs, International Student Exchange Programs (ISEP), and UM Partner University programs. Each program is unique, but they all provide students the opportunity to enhance their perspective and engage in meaningful opportunities for social, cultural, academic, and professional growth. Credits earned abroad are transferred back to UM to help students fulfill their degree requirements at home. Education Abroad is for students of all majors and programs run during all terms. Financial aid and scholarships apply, find your program now!

Stop by the External Scholarship table to explore financial help and learn about scholarship coaching:
—Goldwater—see Laure Pengelly Drake immediately if you are interested in science or math research
—Critical Language , Boren, and Gilman Scholarships for study abroad
—UK Summer Fulbrights for freshmen and sophomores in any field
—NSF Research Experience for Undergraduates—freshmen may apply
—Humanity in Action, Udall, and Truman for service and leadership; CBYX for a year in Germany
—Many fellowships for graduate programs such as the Marshall, Gates Cambridge, and the new Knight-Hennessy award at

Day 4: UM Major Fair and Declare Your Major Day, Friday, September 15th, 10am-2pm, UC Atrium
