Noon—5:00 p.m. International Food & Culture Festival: The festival, sponsored by the International Student Association, consists of country displays, selling of ethnic foods, cultural performances and more! ~University Center

Monday, March 10

Noon Opening Ceremony, Speakers: Dr. Mehrdad Kia, Associate Provost of International Programs, Effie Koehn, Director of Foreign Student and Scholar Services, and Faye Lingarajan, President of the International Student Association. Persian Student Association members give a Tajik dance performance and Yidaki (Didgeridoo) Club member, Mandela Van Eeden, plays the didgeridoo. ~ UC Atrium

2:00 p.m. Study Abroad Information Session: Learn about study abroad opportunities at the University of Montana (Partner University Exchanges, ISEP, and Faculty Directed Programs), application deadlines, application procedures, and information regarding the credit transfer process, financial aid and scholarships available for study abroad. ~ UC 333

3:30 p.m. Welcome to Ukraine: An introduction to the geography, history, and culture of the area. Presented by Kateryna Gudymenko, UM international student. ~ UC 333

Noon Change your World: Intern Abroad, learn about opportunities through the IE3 Global Internship program which provides international professional development experiences for students, Kevin Hood, Internship Coordinator, Internship Services ~ Old Journalism, 303

7:00 p.m. Climate Change Negotiations: On the Need of Nations to Follow what Justice Requires, Donald Brown, Associate Professor of Environmental Ethics and Program Director, Ethical Dimensions of Climate Change, Penn State University. Sponsored by the Wilderness Institute. ~Urey Underground Lecture Hall

Wednesday, March 12

Noon Multi-Cultural Alliance presents the National Coalition Building Institute panel discussion on what it is like to be a certain culture or ethnicity on campus. These discussions will help build awareness of the specific struggles of those belonging to groups other than our own. ~ UC Atrium

3:30 p.m. The World is Your Job Site: Explore your options for working abroad and discover which plan fits best. Learn how to travel and see new places without dipping into your college funds. ~ Lommasson Center 154

Noon Musical Performances given by UM international students: Tshering presents traditional Bhutanese music and Liza Shpileyko performs a Russian song and dance. ~ UC Atrium

International Menu at the Food Zoo:
The Food Zoo is featuring a Hummus Bar at Lunch on Tuesday, March 11 and will be serving Chilaquiles at Dinner on Thursday, March 13.
