Partner exchange students must first be nominated to The University of Montana International Programs by their home institution through an active partner exchange agreement in order to be considered for admission as an exchange student. Therefore, students first apply directly to their home institution’s International Office. If the student has been nominated as an exchange student, the home institution’s International Office forwards the student’s completed applications to The University of Montana’s International Office. Students cannot apply directly to The University of Montana to be an exchange student.
