1st Annual International Education Reception
On Thursday, May 9, 2013, the Office of International Programs hosted the 1st annual International Education Reception honoring the international accomplishments of UM’s students & faculty.
In addition to recognizing the scholarly accomplishments of the students and faculty, the event was organized to recognize the collaborative efforts of numerous offices and departments across campus to build a university for the Global Century.
A key moment during the event was the recognition of international students’ successes that are sponsored through either U.S. government or foreign government support. Among those recognized were students participating in the Global Undergraduate Exchange Program (also known as the Global UGRAD Program), the Edmund S.
