Getting Started
Step 1: Attending an Information Session

Come to the International Center to learn more about UM's 3 study abroad programs, study sites, program costs, how to apply, and the deadlines.
Info sessions are offered every week in the International Center room 113 at the following times:
Tuesdays at 4:00 pm
Wednesdays at 12:00 pm
Thursdays at 4:00 pm
Sessions are not offered during vacation periods. Please make an appointment to speak with someone during those times.
Talking to a Study Abroad Ambassador
Contact a UM student who has recently returned from a study abroad experience. Visit the Study Abroad Ambassadors' website.
You have two things to consider: where you want to go and what type of program you will choose. You can visit our world map to discover your options.
Step 3: Applying
Because each program has a different application procedure, please read the application instructions pertaining to the program you choose.
To access an application in progess, visit the Login Page, select the LOGIN link in the uppper right-hand corner, and enter your NetID and password.
