Apply to ISEP
Step 1: Begin Online Application
Please click on this ISEP Member University listings link and choose the host institution that is your top choice. Remember to complete the application by the deadline.
Step 2: Research Host Institution(s)
- You can apply to as many as 10 sites and you are encouraged to apply to at least 3-5 sites to ensure placement.
- You can search the ISEP website for study sites by language and field of study or by country.
- If the ISEP priority application deadline has passed, check which sites are still available.
- Find out what courses are offered at your host institution(s) by visiting their website(s). You will need to consider the semester the courses are offered and find out what a full-time courseload is at your host institution/country.
Step 3: Get Courses Approved
Meet with your academic advisor to have your courses approved. Bring the course descriptions you found on your host institution(s) website and the Course Request List. Have extra courses approved in case some of your desired courses are not offered. You will need to submit a Course Request List for each university to which you are applying.
Step 4: Interview
All applicants will be contacted to schedule an interview. Research your host institution(s) and host country/countries and be prepared to answer questions about how this study abroad experience relates to your future academic and life goals. Be prepared to bring your method of payment (check, money order, or credit card) for the ISEP application fee to the interview. The ISEP Exchange placement fee or ISEP Direct program deposit of $390 payable to ISEP via check, credit card, or money order is due at the interview.
What's Next?
