Article V. Executive Board - Officers
The duties of the President shall be to:
- Preside over meetings - agenda setting
- Serve as a representative of the association, unless prior engagements of importance prevent this

The duties of the Vice-President shall be to:
- Oversee internal functions
- Preside over the meetings and activities of the association in absence of the President if the need so arises
- Answer calls made to I.S.A.
- Assist President in representation
The duties of the Business Manager shall be to:
- Maintain accurate knowledge of the association's accounts
- Assume responsibility for writing checks (I.S.A. merchandise)
- Prepare an annual budget
- Present a monthly financial report to the Executive Board
The duties of the Secretary shall be to:
- Take minutes and attendance at all meetings
- Maintain inventory if necessary
- Write letters; representative of the President
Each officer will be allowed three absences from regular meetings per semester before an automatic dismissal comes into effect. After two absences, a warning will be issued to the delinquent officer. Individual board members can be impeached if a petition is filed and signed by one-half of the member body. Thereafter, a dismissal will be approved by two-thirds of the board. Further grounds of dismissal will be at the discretion of the Executive Board, and requires a two-thirds majority of that body.
The Executive Board shall be dissolved by filing a petition of no confidence by two-thirds of the association's members. The organizers of the petition will be responsible for holding elections within three weeks.
If, for any reason, the President is permanently unable to fulfill his/her duties as described, the Vice-President shall assume the President's responsibilities. A new Vice-President will be elected from among the existing officers, requiring a majority vote of the Executive Board. If a vacancy arises and a majority of the officers feel that it is necessary to hold an election for a new officer, one may be held, providing that the proper guidelines are followed (Art. IV., Sec.3). Otherwise, the President may appoint a person to fill the vacant seat with the approval of the majority of the Executive Board.
