Please note: IT Central operating hours are 8 - 5 weekdays.

Duties include: Greet customers, answer IT Central phone, fill in answering the University of Montana switchboard, handle cash and credit card transactions; verify customer identities against a database, assist customers with check in/check out of audio/visual equipment. Flexible scheduling to fit with your class schedule.
Requirements include excellent customer service skills, phone skills, positive attitude, professionalism, good organizational skills and attention to detail, cash and credit card handling, and keyboarding. Preferred skills are experience with audio/visual equipment, ability to use computers for office applications and ability to learn new skills. *Must have Work Study*

The UM Student Technology Assistants Program (STAP) is recruiting students for Spring 2015. STAP students are placed in campus departments to provide part-time information technology (IT) support to faculty and staff. Duties include but are not limited to: providing desktop computer support (PC and Macintosh positions available); computer hardware and software assistance; troubleshooting computer related problems; assist with multi-media classrooms (projector connections, printers, teleconference set up, etc.); web design and support, etc.
