Classrooms and Instructional Technology Support Infrastructure

Information Technology supports a wide range of educational technology services and installations, including multimedia classrooms, computer labs, and video conferencing rooms.
Multimedia classrooms are equipped with presentation systems for computer presentations and DVD/VCR playback. IT is currently supporting an Academic Affairs' initiative to upgrade presentation technology infrastructure in classrooms. More information on the project is available at www.umt.edu/classrooms.
IT provides video conferencing services for classes, meetings, and presentations. Video conferencing technology is used to connect classes with presenters at off-site locations, conduct meetings without travel, and for distance education courses.
