Technical groups
IT facilitates two technical groups:
Technology Partners
Technology Partners is designed to form closer alliances between IT and individual departments on campus. Tech Partners is a stragetically managed partnership between local technology support staff and central IT to increase the efficient and effective use of departmental computing resources.
Sysgroup
The purpose of the Sysgroup email list is to facilitate the exchange of information among UM campus system administrators. Information Technology is the owner of this mailing list and is responsible for approving membership requests and managing the mailing list.
