The PTS satellite receivers are located in the Social Science building. We currently support analog telecasts on "C" band and "Ku" band plus some digital formats. Programs received from satellite can be viewed live or recorded for later viewing. The requestor must make all arrangements for telecast registration, viewing facility schedule, and recording authorizations.
Many telecasts require a registration fee to be paid prior to receiving the necessary technical coordinates for the satellite telecast. It is the responsibility of the requestor to arrange funding for any registration fees. The technical coordinates must be provided to PTS not later than one working day prior to the event.

Recommended Scheduling Sequence
- Identify the originating source/program provider.
- Verify the type of satellite telecast: C, Ku, or Digital
- Identify potential audience size.
- Identify and schedule a suitable viewing location.
(Contact PTS for possible viewing locations)
- Contact PTS to schedule reception of the satellite telecast.
- Register with the originating organization, including payment of license fees if any.
- Provide PTS the necessary downlink coordinates provided by the originating organization after confirmation of registration, at least one day in advance of the telecast.
