Computer Labs

Description

IT - PTS manages four general access computer labs that are open to any University student, faculty or staff. All labs are free for any student to use as long as a class is not being held in that lab at that time.  All labs include Mac computers with a dual boot setup with both Mac and Windows operating systems on each computer.

How to request

Individual users access computer lab computers by logging in with your NetID.

To reserve a computer lab, complete the Lab Reservation Request Form.

Charge

No charge.

Eligibility

UM Students, faculty and staff with a NetID.

Instructors may reserve a lab for hands-on instruction in an academic class.

Support

Lab monitors are sometimes able to help you with general problems, but they are not expected to be consultants. If the monitor cannot help you, contact IT Central in Social Science 120 (phone 243-HELP). The consulting hours are 8 a.m. to 5 p.m., Monday through Friday.
