Adobe Creative Cloud

Employees Eligible for Product or Service

Detailed description

University of Montana has an Enterprise Term Licensing Agreement (ETLA) for Adobe Creative Cloud device licenses for university-owned devices. The licenses are earmarked primarily for academic purposes (devices in student labs and devices used by faculty for teaching). A limited number of licenses are available for business purposes. There are two University-Owned Device (UOD) license types: Single Device (installation tied to a specific device) and Named User (installation tied to a specific user on a specific device). A Work At Home (WAH) option is also available for UM faculty and staff for use on non-university owned machines.

Please note that UM retirees and affiliates are not eligible to participate in this program and should purchase Adobe CC directly through Adobe. UM students can purchase Adobe CC through the UM Bookstore or also directly through Adobe. Students may also access Adobe CC on campus at various departmental computer labs, including the IT public labs.

License types

  • University-Owned Device (UOD)
    • Single Device - not associated with a particular UM employee.
    • Named User - a specific UM employee will be using CC on a particular device.
  • Work At Home (WAH) - a specific UM employee will be using CC on personally owned devices (two installations included in purchase).

System requirements for Creative Cloud

  • Apple/Mac: OS 10.8 or above
  • Windows: A 64 bit OS is required on all packages except for the Design package which can be used with a 32 bit OS system.

Adobe Creative Cloud packages (University-owned devices - single device licenses)

For distribution of Creative Cloud for university-owned devices (single device licenses), the Adobe products are grouped into various packages for more efficient downloads.  If the software you need does not fit well with these groups, you may place a special request for only the programs you need.  Special requests may take longer than the prepackaged groups.

How to request
