Microsoft Home Use Program (HUP)

Current UM employees are eligible to purchase one copy of Microsoft Office Professional Plus 2016 (PC) or Office Home and Business 2016 for Mac to be installed on one personally owned device. This offering is for a perpetual license (i.e. one time only purchase as opposed to subscription-based yearly software licensing purchases). This offering is only available to current UM employees. Retirees and affiliates are ineligible to participate in this benefit. Once an employee is no longer current at UM, they must uninstall the software from their personal devices (Microsoft policy).

Eligible employees are allowed to purchase one license of either Office Professional Plus 2016 or Microsoft Office Home & Business 2016 for Mac.
Charge$9.95 per software license for:
- Office Professional Plus 2016; or
- Office Home & Business 2016 for Mac
- $15.99 - back-up DVD
- $19.99 - back-up USB flash drives (not available yet)
Most University of Montana current employees
Exceptions (those who cannot participate):
- Employees who do not use computers to perform their job functions (i.e. grounds keepers, cashiers, custodians)
