UM student email is hosted by Microsoft. UMConnect features a suite of Microsoft-hosted Live@edu services including email, SkyDrive virtual file storage and collaboration tools. Students use their NetID to log into UMConnect.
IT provides email account services for UM employees using Microsoft Exchange.
