Mailing lists (Listserv) support
A mailing list is a communication tool used by its members to participate in on-line discussions by posting comments, suggestions, and other information to a large number of people at the same time.
At The University of Montana you may participate in on-line discussions that are locally administered by Information Technology using LISTSERV a product developed by L-Soft, a creator of email list management and other email communication tools. LISTSERV may be accessed and administered either via email or an online web interface.
If you are interested in establishing a mailing list at The University of Montana, please complete the LISTSERV online application by clicking on the “LISTSERV Application” link below. You will receive a reply from IT personnel within two working days of receipt of the application. Please review the LISTSERV policies before completing the application.
