UMConnect supported browsersTo use the complete set of features available in UMConnect's Outlook web application, you need to use Internet Explorer 7 or higher. Most features are also supported in Firefox 3.0.1 on computers running Windows XP, WIndows Vista, Windows 2003, and Windows 7 operating systems, and Safari 3.1 or higher on the Mac OS X operating system.
You may use other web browsers to access UMConnect, but you will see a light version of the interface and not all features are available, such as the ability to open another account within UMConnect.
About Outlook Light
The light version of the Outlook web application is optimized for accessibility, such as for blind and low vision users. This light version provides fewer features and is faster for some operations. The light version may be more effective for you if you are on a slow connection or using a computer with strict browser security settings. The light version can be used with almost any browser.
Some browsers that are limited to the light version include: Safari on Windows, Internet Explorer 6 (and earlier), and any browser not on Windows XP, Windows 2003, Windows Vista, Windows 7, or Mac OS X.
How to switch to Outlook Light
1. Click Options, then Settings, then General
2. On the General tab, under Accessibility, select Use the blind and low vision experience.
3. Click Save.
4. Logout and log back in to complete the change to the light version.
