VPN installation guide for Mac 10.5
Virtual private networking (VPN) software is used to ensure that all communications between the user's wireless device and the wireless access point (WAP) are encrypted, and thus safe from being intercepted by other users. Following are procedures for installing VPN software on Macintosh computers running MacOS 10.5 and MacOS 10.6.
Note: For those who upgraded from MacOS 10.5 to MacOS 10.6, it may be necessary to re-download and reinstall the VPN software, even if the versions appear to be the same. Once reinstalled, the current version should work.
