Existing site migration

If you already have a website hosted by WTS, we will help migrate your site to the CMS.  Please note that we will no longer be supporting creating new sites with Dreamweaver and we are phasing out support for Dreamweaver and Contribute sites.  We encourage you to move your site to the CMS as soon as you can.  Please follow the steps below to ensure your site is migrated as soon as possible.

1. Request site migration services through our online form.
Click here to secure your place in the Web site queue.

2. Set Up Meeting
Once the Project Request Form is received, the Web Services team will contact you within 48 hours to set up a meeting.

3. Web Audit and Review
Before your initial meeting takes place, the Web Services team will audit your site and research what your colleagues are doing, if applicable. We ask that you also review your site and prepare a list of other Web sites that you find useful and effective.

4. Meet and Discuss
At the initial meeting, the Web Services team will brief you on the new templates and content management system. We will then review your site together and discuss any technical issues that might come up.

5. Set Up Skeleton
A member of the Web Services team will set up the skeleton of your site based on your existing site.

6. Training
Once the skeleton of your site is created, your site editor(s) will be trained in the content management system by a member of the IT Central  or WTS team.

7. Site Build Out by Client
Once you have been trained, you are ready to build and edit your new site in the content management system. Web Services provides as much help as you need to ensure the process flows smoothly.

8. Testing of New Site
Once the site is complete, it is tested and reviewed by the Web Services team.

9. Cutover and Launch

In this final step, Web Services launched your site. At this time your old site is archived, and your new site goes live.
