ABOUT IT SENATE

The IT Senate was formed in Fall 2012 to guide University of Montana information technology strategy and iniatives. The IT Senate is one layer of an IT goveranance structure that emerged from last year's IT strategic planning process.

IT Senate responsibilities include developing and assessing an IT strategic plan, managing IT strategic funds and prioritizing campus-wide IT iniatives. The IT Senate reports to the President's Cabinet through the CIO.
