Primary Functions

The Site Development Coordinator is a professional position responsible for developing service and host sites for MTCC grant-funded programs in rural, low-income, and high needs areas of MT.

This is a full-time professional position on a three month Letter of Appointment with a competitive salary and benefits package. The position is grant-funded and on a temporary three month contract.

  • Develop and disseminate Request for Proposals for new sites for the MTCC Campus Corps and AmeriCorps*VISTA Programs in low-income, rural and high need communities
  • Qualifications

  • Knowledge of national service and higher education (required) Minimum of two years operations experience (required) Infectious positive attitude
  • Strong organizational skills (required) Ability to manage multiple tasks at one time (required)
  • Excellent written, oral, and interpersonal communication skills (required)
  • Skill in current technology including web-based systems, e-mail, Microsoft Word, & Excel (required)

  • BA/BS (required); MA/MS preferred

    Montana Campus Compact is a dynamic statewide nonprofit organization committed to fostering an ethic of service in faculty, students, and staff. MTCC supports and encourages colleges and universities to engage with their communities through community service projects, service-learning, and other civic engagement activities. Through a variety of programs and initiatives, MTCC helps to-increase capacity its member campuses to improve teaching and learning, meet community needs, be active partners with community-based organizations, and develop engaged citizens. The MTCC Network Office administers several privately- and publicly- sponsored programs.
